Paskal Slippers

Super comfy hand knit Paskal socks are worn in Bulgaria by both men and women. They are house slippers with an all grey body and a red border that forms a triangle flap on top of the foot--kind of like the seam of a shoe. They are durable and warm. Their extra-thick knitting makes them perfect for hardwood floors and cold winter nights.

Traditional sock patterns like the Paskal have been passed down through Bulgarian families for generations. We gather and dye our wool locally, and most of it comes from sheep right here in our own small village of Patalenitsa. All the wool is hand-processed so that it's soft and warm against the skin.

Our brand helps keep alive our country's tradition of knitting, while bringing income into Bulgaria's rural villages.

Thanks so much for your support. Enjoy the socks!
